Independent Testing and Certification

 

The Xtreme Heater was designed specifically with safety in mind and has been independently tested to meet the ignition protection requirements of the ABYC E11, the USCG, ISO 8846, SAE J1171 and to satisfy MILITARY standards.

Ignition Protection Requirements:

  • Tested and passed the ignition protection requirements to determine compliance for electrical components as stated in the ISO Standard ISO 8846 as well as the Electrical System Standard, Title 33 CFR, Part 183, Subpart I, Section 183.410, SAE J1171and the ABYC Certification Handbook.

 

Military Testing – Exceeding the Rest!

  • In addition to standard ignition protection safety standards, the Xtreme Heater has pased MIL-SPEC testing (MIL-STD-810E Method 514.4 Vibration ) to prove that it is tough enough to make it in the most demanding environments. The MIL-SPEC (MILITARY) tests are the hardest to pass and are intended for all types of military equipment.

Testing Procedures and the Xtreme Heater’s Results
